Their quick, easy preparation makes them a favourite of canteens and restaurants, and their taste and texture stand up at home too. They’re ready in 15 minutes, and you won’t tell them apart from dumplings made the traditional way from raw potatoes.
What do hairy dumplings go with?
Traditionally with cabbage and smoked meat, with fried onion and cracklings, or sweet with poppy seeds and sugar.
